Hello!

So, we've lived in our 1980's ranch for about seven years, and while we've renovated, diy'ed, and decorated our hearts out over the course of that time, there is still SO.MUCH.TO.DO. Like a complete overhaul of our master bathroom (I'll show you a pic when I build up some courage. It's bad-- real, real bad). We also want to add a backsplash, built-in desk, and banquette to our kitchen; re-paint and re-decorate our dining room; update the foyer and library; finish decorating our daughters' room; and start decorating our master bedroom, just to name a few things on the list.

Some of the things we want to do are updates/ tweaks to design choices we made years ago. I'm just ready for a change! You know how that goes, right? For example, we loved our green dining room when we painted it (a color-- Benjamin Moore Oregano-- we chose from a Domino November 2006 spread back in the day), but I'm so over that color now.

Nowadays, I'm craving dark, almost black paint on the walls and light, soothing furnishings and accents. I can't wait to see if I can pull that look off since I've never done anything like it before! We shall see. There's lots to do around here, and I really hope you will follow along!
